Podcast: Zeroing in on Hi-Fi Reviewing on YouTube with Zero Fidelity

This episode features an in-depth discussion with Sean of Zero Fidelity, one of the original audiophile reviewers on YouTube.

In this special episode, we sit down with one of the original audiophile reviewers on YouTube; Sean of Zero Fidelity. He first launched his YouTube channel in 2015 which has amassed nearly 15 million views and 70,000 loyal subscribers. As one of the most well-known and outspoken reviewers in the audiophile community, chances are if you’ve been searching for high-end audio information on YouTube, you’ve come across Sean’s videos. He has a unique talent for being able to accurately communicate what equipment actually sounds like and his lack of pretense or “I know better than you” attitude has made him a go-to resource for thousands of audiophiles around the world.

The discussion also reveals some of Sean’s background in the hi-fi industry and how he acquired an arsenal of knowledge listening to so many audio components at a relatively young age.

Sean has his finger on the pulse of the YouTube hi-fi community, and the audio industry as a whole. Few know that Sean’s expertise in the hi-fi industry extends much deeper than just reviewing, which is why he still calls his YouTube channel a hobby, despite its success.
