Scott,
Did you listen to the podcast?
Andover uses a proprietary material in the loudspeaker cabinet that isolates any source placed on top of it from vibration. I’ve used 3 of their loudspeakers with multiple turntables and it works really well.

]]>My Pro-Ject Beatles ’64 sits atop an Emotiva XDA-2 on a dual shelf table end table. Beneath that ‘table on the lower shelf there is a SpinBase with a Grace Digital Encore table radio which along with a powered 10 inch subwoofer is connected to that SpinBase. Talk about easy access to music?
As I write this I can reach to my left (steady now fellow Conservatives!) I can put on a record or listen to my Pandora, SiriusXM or Amazon Music stations/playlists.
Easy peasy mac ‘n’ cheesy.
Andover Audio, Pro-Ject and Grace Digital together made this possible for me.
Does the system grant me that most elusive of all frAudiophilian emotions, i.e., “Musicalifragelisticexpealidopishness”? Nah. Andover’s equipment makes playing records an effusive rather than elusive and definitely NOT exclusive experience.
As I said. I have bought 5 of their SpinBase for myself and my family. Their product is superb and together with one of my Grace Digital radios and together with my Beatles ’64 record player I have it all. What about CD? I don’t use one on this particular setup.
But I have it in another room of our home.
