Hello the house!
A purportedly traditional Irish way of greeting family and friends and one used in a favorite John Wayne film, “The Quiet Man”. I am nothing if not traditional in many of my ways. Speaking of “traditional”>
Julia Sawtell. I am listening to her right now on my Pandora account. A loverly young woman with a voice to match. I remember when “Somethin’ Stupid” came out in the late-ish ’60s. I bought a copy and of course it was lost through the years but the song has always been with me.
This is a talent that I should have heard of by now on “The Great American Songbook Radio Station” out of the Netherlands as I listen to that quite often and I hope she does well. Later today I will let my older brother know about her as he too has Pandora and we have similar musical tastes.
I shall also give a listen to Abigail Shelton and Miss Emiko later in the day as it is 4:41 here on the left coast and I have to take my doctor order stuff. Dammit! 😉
Thank you, Ian.
ORTon Wells…I will take no medicine before its time.
