Since its founding in 2002, Sonos has been on a mission to provide wireless audio solutions for consumers. With a foundation in compact wireless speakers, their new Era series is getting a lot of attention. They have also branched out very successfully into the home theater category with the Sonos ARC, Beam, and Ray soundbars. In portable audio, Sonos offers the Roam and Roam SL. Sonos also has a line of architectural speakers.
However, Sonos also has a growing presence providing speaker options and supporting services for the professional and commercial business categories.
For 2023, Sonos is expanding its presence in the business market further with Sonos Pro, its first Software as a Service (SaaS) offering.
With the end of the COVID pandemic, consumers are steadily returning to brick-and-mortar, retail stores, and restaurants. To tap into this trend, Sonos is leveraging music, visuals, and scents to create a sensory in-store experience that builds an emotional connection with customers.
What Sonos Pro Is
Sonos’s service builds on the increased presence of Sonos products being used in commercial spaces by providing a custom software management solution, that better fits the needs of that environment as opposed to the less complex needs of a home solution.
The Sonos Pro software platform works with existing Sonos products by making it easier for businesses to manage sound delivery to one or more locations. Sonos Pro provides commercially-licensed music with a simple dashboard that allows users to see what’s playing across every business location if needed.
