Yamaha has unveiled the True X Series, a family of Dolby Atmos soundbars and wireless surround speakers that provide a new, and flexible way to transform your home with an immersive audio experience for TV and movie viewing.
The True X 50A and 40A Soundbars
The True X Bar 50A and 40A are designed to provide detailed, and dynamic sound performance, as well as spatial imaging.
The 40A is a single-body, all-in-one soundbar with built-in subwoofers. The 50A has the same soundbar features as the 40A, including built-in subs, but also comes packaged with an external wireless subwoofer.
Both models use upward firing speaker drivers for Dolby Atmos immersion and feature Clear Voice for improved dialogue clarity.
Additional Features of the 50A and 40A
- Speaker Drivers (X50A/X40A): (2) 2.6 x 1.8-inch Front L/R drivers, (2) 2-inch height channel drivers, (2) 3-inch built-in subwoofers.

- Wired Connectivity: Ethernet, HDMI eARC/ARC, HDMI Input, Digital Optical Input; there are no analog inputs provided.

The Sub 100A is an add-on subwoofer designed to work exclusively with the True X 40A. The 100A connects wirelessly to the 40A via easy pairing.
Tip: This is the same subwoofer that is included with the True X 50A.
Here are the feature/specification highlights of True X Sub 100A:

Tip: The True X Speaker 1A is battery-powered (rechargeable).
In Solo Mode, the 1A uses Bluetooth 5.0 for connection to a compatible smartphone or tablet.
In Surround Mode, the Speaker 1A pairs to the soundbar using a direct wireless connection for low latency and better signal stability.
Tip: The 1A can switch from Surround mode to Solo mode via a one-touch button.
Its IP67 waterproof and dust-resistant rating makes it ready to take on outside elements and like the soundbars, the Speaker 1A offers the Clear Voice enhancement.
An optional charging cradle (CC-T1A) is available for effortless grab-and-go flexibility.
Additional True X Speaker 1A Features
- Control Options: Top panel controls include Surround and Solo mode buttons, Power, Volume, and Clear Voice.
