ORT,

I agree. They are also very well engineered. The company is much larger than people know and OEM cabinets for a lot of people.

I recently had the opportunity to hear the Phantom CI speakers in a home and left very impressed. I suspect that DALI, Theory Audio Design, Q Acoustics and Magnepan (with a few stragglers) are going to be my long-term rides even when I’m done with all of this.

The in-wall/in-ceiling category is maturing rapidly and there is a part of me that doesn’t want to see loudspeakers in most rooms any more. If I can click on an app, send a track to an amplifier driving DALI or TAD CI speakers and not even notice anything but the sound coming from the ceiling or wall — that’s a win. Both financially and domestically.

When I started this hobby I was told that speakers were the most important part of the picture that is audio. The frame if you will, that holds it all together.
