Denon are not that willing to share certain aspects of their designs but I do know that Burr Brown DACs have been used in a lot of their AVRs over the past decade.

We will dig some more to find that information.

Not much competition for a lot more than the Pioneer VSA-LX805 and Integra DRX-8.4. Both are 150W x 11.4, feature balanced I/O, come with Dirac Live, Works With Sonos, have three HDMI 2.1 outs, feature assignable passive subwoofer speaker amplifiers, and are Roon Ready.

I have a Denon AVR4300H but if I went this route (the 6800) I would definitely need a bigger room. My current 9.2 setup is in a 10 X 10 room. I now have twin 8 inch subs instead of the 12s and then the 10s I previously tried out. My wife was upset over my watching “Predator” (pre-neutered arnie) so loud it was, her words “…like being in the theater!”.

Ed-freakin’-zactly!

Denon/Marantz are easily my favorite brand(s) for Home Theatre(!) as well as multi-room music
