I was there to listen but unfortunately the room offered nothing that really showed off the capabilities of the Syn to be able to evaluate it. The random Apple TV demos were not selected to show off the equipment so that didn’t help. I asked about the URD as well and they had no CDs and it wasn’t even cabled up for use so no evaluation was possible. I’d have much rather written a piece about demoing the Syn, URD, or Bifrost as I mentioned I think the Syn has promise, the URD is a needed product in a dwindling CD transport market, and the Bifrost has been a great product for years (I still own a multi-bit myself) but I’d be remiss in trying to evaluate the products from the provided demos.
