I had those for a veeery short period of time. The sound is good, very good, but as you know it, it is very subjective. I returned them due to some reasons. First, and most important, the background noise of the left speaker. There it was a noise like a coil noise, allways present. No way to accept such a thing. Then, the ear was so crowded inside the cup, better not to deal with it. And last, with ANC off, you would still feel the ears trapped inside a soundproof room. So, i took a pair from the copetition and i am more than happy about it.

That’s disturbing to read. Especially having invested in a pair of Px7 S2e. I’ve never really jumped on the wireless headphone train until now and I hope these do not disappoint on the durability side.

I treat my headphones carefully and keep them in their case.
I have owned 2 sets of Browsers & Wilkins headphones, PX7s.
In both cases a speaker failed, not the wiring, the speaker itself.
Parts for B&W headphones are unavailable. They are soldered, not plug in parts. Basically,once out of warranty, they are a throwaway. (Note: mine failed right after the warranty expired.)

B&W will offer 25% off of a new pair of the same headphones after many messages back & forth, if you send in your bad pair. (Then refurbish and resell one supposes.)

I’m not purchasing a third pair.

Hmmmm…It’s either the Px7 S2e in ORTish Green or the Px8 in Burgundy Royale. Given that my favourite colours are green and red this may well be a difficult decision.

This post was uncharacteristically “normal” for me. Same with the one on the Periodic Audio Neon Dual Source Bluetooth Receiver. I just ordered one in spite of that loooooooong name!
